BrewBoat Questions

Below are a few questions that we are asked on a frequent basis. If you do not find the answer you seek, please contact us here »

What is the BrewBoat?

The BrewBoat is the perfect combination of boating, biking and drinking. We like to refer to it as a ‘pedal pub’. Basically, you and a bunch of your friends hop aboard and pedal through the waterway as you sip on your favorite beverages. You don’t even have to worry about steering the ship as you will have a designated USCG Master Captain!

How do you book a cruise?

We tried to make the process as easy as possible. Simply choose between the options of individual seating or chartering the entire boat.  That’s it!

Where do we meet for our cruise?

All of our cruises embark and disembark from the Port City Marina. Grab your beverages beforehand and arrive 15 minutes before your scheduled cruise.

I’m trying to drink, not exercise! Do I have to pedal?

You are missing out on half of the fun, but no, you are not forced to pedal. Our boat holds up to 15 passengers with 10 cycle stations. If everyone is anti-pedaling, we do have an outboard motor to get us back to the dock.

 What should I bring?

Yourself, some sunscreen, a few snacks and whatever you want to drink! We will supply cups, koozies, coolers, ice and one heck of a good time. We provide a bluetooth speaker system for you to stream your favorite music. We also recommend wearing comfortable shoes since pedaling is involved (flip flops are ok).

 How long is the cruise?

Each cruise on the BrewBoat lasts approximately 1 hour 30 minutes.

 Is there a bathroom onboard?

We do not have a bathroom on the BrewBoat. We do have a classy port-o-john at our dock, or as we like to call it, A Loo With a View. We can make a stop along the way.

How difficult is it to pedal?

It’s just like riding a bike! The captain has the ability to raise or lower the paddle wheel making it easier or harder depending on your group’s preference.

 Are there age restrictions?

The BrewBoat is welcome to all ages, however, you must be 21 with proof of ID to bring any alcohol aboard.

Are there any restrictions on alcohol?

You are welcome to bring beer, wine, or whatever your drink of preference. You must be 21 with a valid ID to bring alcohol onboard.

 What is the cancellation policy?

Cancellations made more than 72 hours (3 days) before your scheduled cruise will receive a full refund. If the captain is forced to cancel due to weather or unforeseen circumstances guests will receive a full refund if they are unable to reschedule.
